Default Requesting Pet build =P

I cannot for the like of me find 1 for my PVE ranger.

I do not have much experience on Pets, and thus I would like if someone could share a build with me so that I can gain more experience on them.
I would like a build that primarily uses a pet...but a hybrid (not thumper) is nice also.
Thank you.

Companionship/Symbiotic Bond, Call of Protection, Ohtyugh's Cry, Enraged Lunge and a bunch of attacks (as well as Comfort and Charm, of course). There might be another skill I'm missing, but basically, those are it.

Shoot off the prep chain (CoP, OC, Feral Aggresssion if you have it) the attacks you have, and leave Enraged Lunge for the end so you get the maximum bonus.

Another viable build is the one that uses the Heal as One elite. It replaces Comfort and Companionship so you can focus on more attacks. Depends on what you like to play.

Other skills worth cosidering are Run as One, Predatory Bond and call of haste.

Pets aren't that good, to be honest. I suppose you could use your pet as a mini-tank and to boost your DPS slightly, but don't use it as your primary function.

http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:R/...he_Great_Dwarf shows the general quality of beast mastery.

http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:R/W_Axe_Rampage would be a better option, think of it as a PvE thumper.... with an axe

PvE pet build? Try something like:

[skill]enraged lunge[/skill][skill]brutal strike[/skill][skill]call of protection[/skill][skill]comfort animal[/skill][skill]charm animal[/skill][optional][rez]

For the optional slot:
Great Dwarf Weapon is popular, but I find the 10e too draining to be worth it without expertise, at least right now with the bugged +damage.
Companionship is another popular choice, though I usually find that CoP protects the pet well enough that a monk can handle the damage it takes easily, and good positioning prevents me from taking much damage at all.
Otyugh's Cry is a nice option if you can count on blocking monsters being an issue, but they usually aren't.
Poisonous bite isn't bad.
Interrupts are always good.
